How about a round of golf? There are several courses in the vicinity. These range from small 9-hole courses to suit the beginner (or for a quick game
when time is short), such as the Mannings Heath Hotel (formerly Brookfield), Pease Pottage or Cuckfield Golf Courses, to the 18-hole championship courses

Sussex has many gardens to visit. Only a half mile away are the renowned Leonardslee Gardens with their spectacular
displays of rhododendrons and azaleas in a lakeland setting of 240 acres. Also within just a few miles are Borde Hill Garden ,
High Beeches Gardens and Wakehurst Place , which is managed jointly by Kew and
The National Trust.
The National Trust manage several properties in the area as well as substantial parts of the South Coast. Places to visit include Nymans Garden, Sheffield Park (almost next door to the
Bluebell Railway ), Standen, Uppark and Petworth Houses. More information is available on the
